This is a great, comprehensive guide to using Twitter - if you want to introduce someone new to what Twitter can do for them, this would be an excellent start!

While this is a really great post, the two april fools links to Problogger etc. aside, I still think Twitter is the best tool for burglars. Just write what you bought (I got a new laptop) and when you leave office or home (I'm out for a jog). On the other hand Twitter is a use all the time time waster.

I think there is now a sufficient mix of people using twitter that it can meet many needs. This is an excellent post that covers many of the issues and is very well presented.

For me, twitter is there just like taking a walk with the dog occasionally. It can spark creativity. Also if you have a moment of frustration with technology, which is always happening, then you probably have someone who will commiserate or even suggest a solution.
