- Sphinn It!
Sphinn has really taken off in the last few weeks & the battle for the top position of all time -or ‘greatest Sphinn’- has been a fierce one.
Rand Fishkin was at the top of the list for a while, but John Andrews, author of the blog www.Johnon.com, has succesfully toppled the moz-father, so I interviewed him to see how he managed it.

Not more Sphinn-bait :P Sphunn
Guilty as charged maybe? As pretty much everyone involved in sphinn wants their submited content to perform well, I thought John would be a great person to interview, especially as to-date he is the only person to have broken the elusive 100 sphinn barrier which should be a challenge and inspiration to all us sphinn-ites.
Is it Sphinn -ites or is it Sphinners or Sphinneretes, what about the Sphinnsters?
Sphinneroonies I think is my favourite
Kelvin by using :P I thought it would show I wasnt really that serious I liked the interview Sphinners sounds better to me ;)
Nah I figured you were only joking! just wanted to reassure people sphinn-bait doesnt nesc mean rubbish content!
John is an good SEO that jumped on an idea before anyone else did. He deserved to make it to the top of the list.
Thanks Kelvin and everyone else for the support. Sphinn is more fun every day, and best of all the challenges Sphinn faces are the very challenges we all face with our own projects and our clients projects. As you play with Sphinn you gain current experience you can use in your own work. Thats an important aspect of success in my book... less work for more value.
"As you play with Sphinn you gain current experience you can use in your own work. Thats an important aspect of success in my book... less work for more value." Agree entirely with that. I actually found Sphinn before I found any other similar 2.0 sites e.g. Digg and so it gave me a very useful insight. I also made an elementary mistake in that I didnt show patience for our agencys blog to be finished, and instead placed my first story as a discussion, thus missing out on lots of potential traffic! Better to make the mistake here and get it out of the way early on. Sphunn (oh, and my vote goes to Sphinners)
