I dont think my kids were walking when I got theirs.
I hear you Danny - my kids havent even been born yet (just names picked out) and we have theirs...
Same here, Chris :)
4 months pre-birth here.
Babies and websites have a lot in common. I actually wrote about it a month ago. It will never cease to amaze me at how the internet is becoming more and more of an aspect of life its self.
No domains for kids here but my dogs have domains and they type horribly.
Im also in the registered-their-domains-before-they-were-born category. I think its a smart thing to do....
My daughter got her domain (+photo-blog) right after we picked her name, same day she was born. Too bad she got tired from the Comment Spam bots and now she requires a user/password login... ;-)
planetc1, thats why you always have to register several name typo domains for your dogs as well :P
This is an interesting story, but I am not a fan of parents treating the Internet like a safe place for kids. Perhaps when the child is an adult, they may like having their own domain name, but with the harmful content children are exposed to, and the crimes against children enabled by youth using Social Media, it makes me uncomfortable to see children and the Internet in the same bag.
