Our venue will be the fantastic Kress Terrace in the heart of downtown Greensboro, with capacity for 150 geeks and marketing majors. We’ll kick off the event at 10am with presentations from attendees, with a Q&A roundtable and networking party at the end of the day.The conference will invite attendees to submit presentations on subjects they’d like to talk about and also submit requests for presentations on matters of interest to them. Topics expected to be covered will include SEO, PPC, Social Media and Affiliate Marketing. Presentations can be intermediate or advanced level, white hat or black hat. Please email sphinncon@searchmarketingexpo.com if you’d like to present at the conference. The ticket price for attending SphinnCon NC will be $150, which includes refreshments, a fantastic steak (or vegetarian) lunch and as much beer and wine as you’d like during the afternoon networking. If a hotel is required, a special conference rate of $169 per night has been arranged with the nearby Proximity Hotel. The registration page is now live and further information on the event will be posted on the main SphinnCon page on Tuesday.Remember - there’s only 150 tickets available and we expect them to get snapped up fast, so register for your place now to avoid disappointment.PS. Sounds great.  I’ll be coming from Charlotte and let other locals over here know about it as well.

Man... when I saw this in my RSS I had to reread it because upon initially seeing "North Carolina" I read "Northern California." Who ever comes to NC for SEM stuff? But it’s so awesome Sphinn is coming here! And in Greensboro, where I am? How much better can that  it get?I’ll be there for sure!

North California would have been easier for me but I’ve been anticipating this event (nice work Rob) and I’m going to see about getting out of the office that day to hang with you all. May have to make a weekend of it.

@SearchBuzz - No plans just yet. We’re most likely to start off in states that do not currently get coverage from SMX events - although I’m sure that it’s high on Danny’s list for when he moves over to your neck of the woods :)Thanks to everyone who has registered for this event so far!

How do I know how many seats are still available?  It currents says "2 atendees", does that mean there’s 148 left?I’m planning on going, but the paperwork for my company’s going really slow and I just want to make sure the event doesn’t get full before the paperwork goes through.  If there’re very few seats left, then I’ll probably just pay for it myself and then submit some other paperwork for the company to reimburse me (which’ll be even slower, but at least I’ll be there). Thanks,Paul Zhao
