I guess it bugs me that the article is about social bookmarking site but i would really not call Digg a social bookmarking site. :( Sphunn anyhow
You bring up some great points Doc, and I enjoyed the post.
I do think there is a time and a place to include a url in the the title. (not for self promotion though)

So digg might not be technically classified as social bookmarking site but you can take my tips so you do not look a douchebag.
I know these tips are nothing new to the sphinn community, but people green to this space or trying to do it themselves should know about this.
