True.. the case with the web is that competition is always present but not always competing. No matter what you do your competitor is just a tab  (or a window away). Also growth on the web is primarily consolidation and partnership.. no point ticking off others for short terms benefits. And of course when one make tall claims.. everyone else tries hard to find a chink int he armour.. why garner such unwanted attention.. a good product will earn credibility no matter what and that's all you need to strive towards
