Good luck in getting agreement as to what that process entails.

If it says that SEO must include link-building then I, for one, am sh*t out of luck (as far as they think) as I don't do that stuff. 

On the other hand if it forgets to mention fiddling with server settings and .htaccess and so on, then again, that's a big problem as I spend copious hours dealing with those issues...
