I can’t help myself checking to see what’s happening in my little Twitterverse multiple times a day, and getting into conversations with people who were complete strangers up to a few days or weeks ago.
In all honesty they are still strangers apart from that fact that in my Twitterverse, they are my ‘Tweeple’. I choose to follow every bit of their day, and they for some bizarre reason choose to follow my antics. I’m going to mention @MartinBowling here as a case in point. We’ve been mutually following each other for a few months now, neither of us knowing jack-shee about the other apart from what our 140 character bio allowance says. While mine very eloquently mentions the fact that I hate brussel sprouts, Martin touches on his plans for world domination. I felt it prudent to become one of his Tweeple, one never knows…

I love how twitter connects me to many of the people I idolize in different industries (SEO and Web Development). Its provided me the chance to actually chat with these people, where I otherwise would never have that opportunity.
Agreed with the last commentor. I love the fact the Twitter opens the lines of communication with people I couldve never spoken to before, and the fact that I meet so many awesome people on it everyday. I thought it was lame at first, and now Im a Twitter addict... go figure. *=T
I just want to say I agree. I didnt much see the purpose, but now I get a bit loopy if I cant at least see the web version of Twitter - had real issues without my Twhirl!! :)
You all should write Haikus on Twitter at least once per day.
6 degrees of Twitteration. Its amazing how you can quickly make contact with some top people either through a twitter friend or just go for the jugular and approach that person direct. So far for me the standard of tweets has been high but the spammers lurk!I cant get enough :) @makakman
