Make internal links absolute. I find this to be an interesting tip. I must say I've never done it (hopefully I'm not about to be shunned).

Dosh, I think this may depend on your area of operation. In my blogging niche of forex trading I am yet to meet anyone who would rather blog than trade the market themselves. People blog because they want to share ideas but the main focus is still trading. Well, you might find trading enthusiast seeking information for their blogs and adsense contents doing that.

aboslute links:   Because lame site scrapers wont fix the links, meaning, these clone sites/pages will link back to you, which not only gets you free inbound links, but also looks like they are citing you as an originator of the article.
