Hit the nail on the head with this Lisadit...... Google have lowered in my respect rankings in fact thet are now reaching the fold. The introduction of  quality score was a revelation for Google adwords as it meant that genuine companies had a chance in this crazy online world and provided an all round better user experience!! Contradicting themselves -now any top dick and harry can bid for popular or brand terms....... NUTS.

Nice post - greedy little googlers indeed!

Flip side is, if someone wants to pay for those clicks- even though chances of conversion are much lower- why shouldn't they be able to?  The loophole in the US has been DKI headlines- AFAIK, Google has not fixed that yet- though we have not used it, didn't feel it was in the spirit of not putting TMs in the text ads.
