Ha Ha, just wrote an article about them myself. I know a number of people that have fallen for those mailings, and sent payment.
Yep, its a shocker. But the more sphinns I get, the more people will see this post and hopefully be warned in time
Hi Kalena, Arent they just peachy? I have a page one ranking for listingcorp.com...another company with a very similar business plan. Fortunately, Aaron Wall had blogged about them. When I went to research them, the Internet proved of great help in avoiding being scammed, in that case. I hope your posts will do the same for others. Miriam
BRAVO! Well written. You go girl!
Thanks guys. Ive got the DROA return envelope and tear-off reply card here. Im very tempted to scrawl FUCK OFF in black felt pen where they want my credit card number and post it off. Should I do it? heh heh
Yeah, do it. They are scum. I regularly take the garbage that Company A sent me, and put it in the envelope of Company B; and take the garbage that Company B sent me, and put it in the envelope of Company A, and then send it all off. Of couse, I rip out the part with my name and address and any ID numbers on it first.
wow thats nuts lol, havent read much about this. great post, sphunn
Love the idea of junking the junkers g1smd. Im going to try that. Perhaps I can send Readers Digest the DROA stuff and vice versa LOL!
This post is already out-ranking my other posts about DROA on Google. Thanks for the Sphinns :-)
Yup nice bully boy tactics really go down well. Not. I love companies that like to make threats on others that comment about them. Still does it un-nerve you (even slightly)?
Sphunn. Nothing like a little discussion on companies worth discussing. :)
Yes, it does un-nerve me. But I dont think bloggers should be afraid to comment on topics that they feel strongly about. Especially if they inform and educate others.
