Twitter and the 3 bears. This one twitters too much. Unfollow. This one doesn’t twitter enough. Unfollow. Apparently, the trick is to get it just right.

Funny analogy Michael!  Truth is, the story of the 13 and the blog commenters teaches that despite some twittiquette guidelines, unfollowing is a personal decision; some people will unfollow you no matter what you do- so don’t take it personally.  On the other hand, if you’re getting bu**loads of people unfollowing you, you may be violating some of the twittiquette mentioned in my blog posts. So read up!

There are Twitterers I follow who don’t post replies to your questions etc. but I still follow them and don’t take it personally.

Just treat it like a micro-blog and you won’t go far wrong. Content is the most important thing. Make it worth reading. Every now and again post a useful link or something personal but that shouldn’t be the main focus.
