Looks like someone should report seoripoff to seoripoff.
I wonder what would happen if somebody reported on the SEORipOff.com site the company thats apparently behind SEORipOff.com for allegedly starting a phony "ripoff reporting" site thats nothing more than a thinly-disguised lead generation tool.Would the massive self-referentiality cause the whole thing to implode?
That would hurt.
As much as I really hate to see extortion / negative review sites that are built around trashing people - and dont support them - there are, sadly, an awful lot of SEO rip offs. Plenty of slick-talking business dudes and shady agencies use SEO as a tool for making money and they know and care very little about what actually gets done or doesnt get done. Ive seen it firsthand and I feel the backlash of other peoples behavior almost every time I tell people what I do - and I get a suspicious look or groan.
Has to be the worst marketing idea Ive ever seen in this space.
I just went to the site, and there are no reports listed. The archives are empty. Maybe they saw this post and decided to run and hide?
