Perhaps it doesn't cause ADD, but seriously challenges those of us with ADD. It also tends to make it harder to focus on tasks at hand... ahh, what was I saying? Anyhow... ok, I'm back. Wait, I just got an IM... (you get the picture)

I'd disagree that social media challanges those with ADD like activities. I'd even go as far to say that those with qualities of an ADD/ADHD personality type may be better suited for socail media and related activites.

Well, you are a doctor, right? :-) I do see your point, that the creative energy would allow one to be able to have what I call "multi-directional focus". Some people can harness it, but for others it is a real emotional burden.
