If you look at the fine print (http://www.biglocal.com/works.php) they clarify that the #1 listing guarantee applies to searches on your business name. Sneaky.
Wow i hope no poor suckers actually bought this service.
These types of scams give our industry such a bad reputation!
Their about us page is down... http://www.biglocal.com/about.php I guess they are scambling like roaches now that someone has turned on the lights.
I searched (virginia beach internet consulting) and I found more interesting text in their google map listing. Click on DETAILS and you will see:
Description: We think your new business is #1, and it's our job to put it there. Be found for searches in the Virginia Beach area. Not a Physical Location.
Interesting that they have the caveat (Not a Physical Location) - clever roaches...
