After abandoning search it looks like ASK.com has abandoned proof reading and spell checking as well. Instead of "Cinco de Mayo" Ask celebrates "Cinco do Mayo" instead. Maybe now that Microsoft has some extra cash not buying Yahoo they will buy you instead ;-)

I feel their pain. I just realized I misspelled the word "canonicalization" everywhere in a report I sent in last week. In my defence, there are an inordinate amount of letters in that word.

That’s ok. Google misspells THEIR LOGO on a consistent basis when they do a holiday theme.Speaking of which... why doesn’t Google have one?

Ok guys... it was an honest silly mistake after several revs of validation on our part. One guy just decided to brave Spanish by re-typing versus copying and pasting (and perhaps commencing the celebration way too early). Apologies on the "Cinco doh’ Mayo" boo boo... But, wasn’t the accompanying picture nice though? Unlike Google, we tried.

In any case, more important matters have taken the center stage in our home page. Please use it to help the victims of the catastrophe in Myanmar.

Everyone makes mistakes, but at least they got some extra attention for it. ^_^

Microsoft supplies 4% of my searches and Ask 2%, in contrast to Google 85%. M$ could increase their traffic on deadsearch by a minor purchase of ask.com and perhaps improve their algorithm.

I felt bad and actually emailed them about the mistake - they replied back with an apology lol.
