- Sphinn It!

But then, some bloke called David Airey has put on a contest which I have supplied one of the prizes for and I just had to Sphinn it as the way its set up is so brilliant.
Get a load of experts to supply free stuff, then make participation based on offering links and bada bing..... you have a viral on your hands. The problem with most contests are that the prizes are naff. Free Ipod!
So even if you don't take part, there is something to be learned here, and in an age where Sir Cutts of Google is out to slay the paid links dragon. Not a bad idea at all.
BTW, Danny gave me the OK to post this, thanks Danny.

Hi Lyndon,
Thanks for the kind words. This prize draw wouldn't have been anything to write home about if it weren't for the generosity of sponsors such as you.
It'll be a happy winner who bags your SEO consultation!
Awesome prizes Lyndon, Good looking out for posting that! and thanks to Danny for allowing it!
Im surely signing up! Crossing my fingers and shoving a horse shoe down my..... , well never mind.,,,I want to win! Thx
I am one of the prize givers hoping lots of people enter and try to gain as many tickets in the prize draw as possible :)
I am also working on some great linkbait to draw attention to it.
I'm one of the prize givers as well. I didn't realize the list of prizes would be so long!
Can I win prizes even if I've donated a prize? Imagine if I won my own prize...I could speak a couple hours talking to myself (which wouldn't be abnormal.)
Nice job David.

Ben, that WOULD be a little odd. :)
All the best for your contest, David!
Andy, Ben, Maki,
Thanks again for sponsoring the prize draw! You're all experts in your niches.
Nice competition - and one I might just enter, but I think you need to change the rules slightly. If this thing becomes popular you're going to have FAR too many links to your blog using the exact anchor text 'logo design'. I'd recommend that you ask people to mix it up a little and get them to include some form of logo design in the anchor text (i.e. allow something like cool logo design blog.)
Just my $0.02 :-)
Thanks for the tip, Tom.
I'm not very SEO savvy, and if I wasn't hosting the competition I'd certainly enter, hoping to win Lyndon's SEO consultation. ;)
Paid linking... Call the google police. Where are u MATTCUTTS?
