There are lots of "smaller" sites out there that get inclusion in google news. I little bit of homework can go a long way in finding a regular source of targeted traffic from one of these lesser "press release" sites.
Mat Tore that post up.
Thats good to know.
It is a good pointer and worth referencing - but I think the limiting factor is the size of the niche targeted - and that theres little room in this way for mainstream, IMO.
Hang on: "How to build tons of relevant inbound links with Google News and boost your rankings" The article says he submitted to a single site and got a single link. Not exactly "tons of relevant inbound links" really, is it? :)
Google News is rarely a source of "tons of relevant inbound links." My experience over the years has shown 1-3 good inbounds per article that interests another niche. For example, if you are selling mattresses (as in the example) dont forget the keywords for lateral industries (massage, yoga, spinal surgery).
Having used press releases over the years I know that it is one of the easiest methods a company tends to overlook when looking for "targeted exposure". It is one of those no brainers and so easy it is overlooked or dismissed altogether.
Well to be honest press releases for a bed mattress is best described as poor marketing advice. diamond brokers Adamaunt.com is # 2 and has been for over three years solid due to a full paid Press Release at PrWeb.com It is just one term and one example I will give. Others can think they know what they are speaking of And then there the few of us who do. Peace!
