It’s interesting that you would characterize the process  as ‘How To Pay for Text Links without Getting Caught’… but why would you want to hide?

From our perspective, the only reason to be hiding your SEO tactics is if you’re doing something that you think is hurting the user of the search engine.  If you’re trying to get an affiliate site or made for ads site ahead of a legitimate product or service company – then it doesn’t matter if you’re using on-page or off-page tactics, it’s not good for the searcher, engine, or in the long run, you.

Think about if what your client is asking to do is right for the final end user of the search engine –is it a relevant and useful destination for the keywords, and if you keep that in mind, you’ll never need to stay ‘under the radar.’
