This really does confirm how many Brits are on Facebook, when the 2nd most populat page is one for a British radio show, 5 & 9 are for a BBC car programme, and 14 & 22 are for teen soap operas on Channe; 4.

It would be interesting to compare this to the most active groups, as I suspect they’re slightly more likely to be about brands and issues, rather than ’fandom’ - even though Pages and Groups both share pretty much identical functionality.But I’m more likely to register as a Fan of music, for example, which displays my tastes , than I am to sign up for most brands. And Chris Moyles has had the advantage of constantly plugging the Facebook page on Radio1!
