What I wonder is when someone will out wikipedia for selling followd links. I mean, if paying to use wikimedia software will guarantee you x thousand followd back-links then maybe Google should be penalizing wikipedia instead? The fact that the buyer is a commercial entity filing for a stock market listing and who are using the link juice nicely to boost their other sites just adds to this mess. As an objective site, surely this kind of thing goes against the core of Wikipedia anyway?
