in the same token, we are not slaves to our subconscious minds. the subconscious mind is at work far before we act/react, yes. is this the 'end all'? of course not. this is where cognitive restructuring can take place to rearrange our preformatted mind sets and programmed thoughts. this is what makes the word 'awareness' so appealing.
