I like how you put the importance on the community becoming actively involved (which is clear is going to happen)

It is going to take a lot more than 10-20 sphinns to make the home page really soon

Like the site, I work at the IAB and will give it a mention in IAB’s Search Council tomorrow! After months of setting up my own search marketing specific RSS feeds this is exactly the kind of site I’ve been looking for.

How good will Sphinn be? Who knows. But it’s got Danny behind it and it was good enough for me to spend the last 30 mins getting my profile etc set up - and I’m on holiday.

Ditto - when rand says "jump", I ask "how high?"

I agree 100%, Rand. This can be whatever we make of it and I’m so glad Danny & co. decided to do this.

I’m just excited to be a part of something this big with the field. Rand wrote a great summary of what the site could potentially be.

Great post - love your submission paragraph. This reminds me of the "stories about digg will get you on digg’s frontpage" thing.. ;)
