If you own a web site, or work on one, it might be time to start thinking about how your site looks on a phone, how people use your site, and how mobile search might influence whether your site will be found in searches made by people using phones.

There's a good emulator at the .MOBI Registry if you want to see how badly your site looks in a mobile phone at the moment.

The jury's still out on whether people are going to stick this content on .MOBI domains or simply add a mobile.css stylesheet to their existing site. I prefer the idea of seperate stylesheets (like we do for printing) than rebuilding the site in WAP, especially as Phone's are advancing so quickly.

If you find your site looks awful on a mobile device, than www.getmobile.com is a great service for producing a mobile version of your site from your wired site. I have no affiliation with them - but found the service to be quite useful for getting mobile!

Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE60/1.0; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)
