-Real and human right from the start-Knowledge of the blog’s content/audience-Understanding of the author’s perspective-Tie-in between the pitch and the blog content/audience/author-Brevity in the pitch -Use of bulleted lists and links in the pitch-Make it easy for the blogger to write about the topic by providing additional resources on the topic -Finish with a human offer to opt-out of future pitches
