Great piece Kim - I find that there are cases where good usability is good SEO - but sometimes great usability has NO SEO- so there has to be a balance. If you talk to an SEO, a Usability Person and your Web Designer/Developer before you start with a site design - youre setting yourself up for success from the very beginning - this is huge to small businesses who dont have the resources to start from scratch if it doesnt work the first time.
Usability is more important than SEO like having sex is more important than breathing air but you dont want to miss out on either.
