Sphinn stealing my traffic?  WTF?  No!!!

Thanks for the Sphinn, Martin.

As a BlackBerry user, I'm going to take a friendly jab-- Martin's summary above is an argument AGAINST typing on the iPhone!

Sphinn is a place for discussion, not just a bookmarking site; so it makes sense for a user's first click to go to a page with further information and viewpoints. This is not a requirement however, as you can click directly through to any story via the URL. e.g. (Jump to http://adwordsconsultant.blogspot.com)

The bigger question is, do you get more traffic or less as a result of your stories being listed on Sphinn? My guess would be the former.

PS. iPhones Rock! ;o)

LOL good point, having Sphinn set up that way makes sense to facilitate discussion, and I do love that part of it.  Still think there should be a clarification on the second title like this after: (Click to go to original story)... for those who are less savvy.

I'm kinda Apple-resistant.  Altho I read today that more geniuses use Macs.  Clearly that study was funded by Apple ;-)  My first computer was a Mac.  Long story.

Sphinn's set up makes more sense to me than Digg actually. When I am on a site I expect to be navigating around it. One thing I would like to see though is more recognition of the sources when other people reference the story. It's a bit rude when they link to the Sphinn discussion and not the origional article.

I'm trying to duplicate my comments, on Sphinn and the origional article. I've seen a few others here do that (Barry etc.) and it makes sense. Not only are you getting additional links but the origional author is benefiting from the added activity.

You mean comment on sphinn and on source blog, equally?  I've done that and wondered if it was spammy.  I actually change my comments a bit depending on context of other comments on sphinn and the blog, if there are comments.

I see your point Brian, but given that the audience is comprised of Internet professionals, I'm hoping most of us can work it out :) Lord help us if we can't...
