This is my attempt at a post about what the future of the SEO and Google will be. I'll be the first to admit that some of the stuff I say is (IMO) pretty out there as far as predictions go, but I'd love to get some feedback from the sphinn community, especially as the time period I've been making my observations from is much smaller than many of the older/more experienced people out there.

hot post! Nice mix of sarcasm and reality..you are dead on about Google's data grab and the self contained web push. If Google developed a micro-blogging platform, would I even leave? Just kidding, but their software initiatives have really continued to push their search dominance and will also add the fuel to their data hold.

Very insightful - I'd have given you two sphinns if I could have. You don't give yourself enough credit SlightlyShady.

another excellent one. As it usually goes with predictions, only the time will tell. However, one thing I am sure of is that wherever Google goes, SEO will go with it. The only way i see SEO going away is if Google goes away. That is the law of nature - wherever there are resources, there will be someone that will adapt himself in a way that will allow him (or her :) ) to utilize these resources for his own benefit.
