Excellent article. Ill admit to being guilty of a few of these.
I love how easy it is to implement GA on Drupal, the module takes care of everything so you can cross off "forgot to tag pages" from the list!!
Drupal rocks all round!(the CMS I mean, although this was a damn fine post too :D)
I use cookies to exclude "staff" visits. I also supply a special parameter that can be used on the end of the URL to completely conceal your visit.I also separate out pages views that are directly on the site, from the page views on alternative domains (such as the Google/Yahoo/Live/etc cache).
