If anyone is using WebPosition for SEO reports this week make sure to monitor your Yahoo listings. Apparently Yahoo rankings haven’t been coming through in the reports for the last 7 days!
We have called them, but they really aren’t giving us any answers. Has anyone else heard what’s going on?
We usually send out our monthly reports at the end of the month... Nice timing huh?

Does anybody really use WebPosition?

I use Web position for SERPS (so yes Jill/aimClear there are still some of us that use this software) and yes I have also noticed the problem with Yahoo but am struggling to get answers.looks like it’s back to the old school and manually reporting! oh the joy, yeah really don’t fancy doing it but my reports are due as well!!Can anyone helpful suggest an alternative software for SERPs, its been a while since I have had a look as Web Position has been flawless for the last two years that I have used it.Any help would be appreciatedCheers Badger
I too use Web Postion 4 and have run into the same problem with no Yahoo results flowing through - at the worst time!I came across Advanced Web Ranking by Caphyon - http://www.advancedwebranking.comThey have a nice feature that allows you to import Web Position missions and preserves data.I am hesistant to make a switch because the reports are generated individually and are extremely bland in appearance. They are not quite the level my clients would expect but can be customized with work I would rather not do.Anyone else have another alternative?MembersFirst SEO
Update - This should be now corrected if anyone did not recieve the email from WebPosition Support:"This is an email to let you know that we have created an update for the Yahoo engine in WP4. This update should pass to the update server in about 2-3 hours. When you open WP it should check for updates automatically or you can manually click through "help-->download latest update". You will know that you have this latest update installed by clicking through "help-->about WebPosition". On the help screen you should see "config 356" or higher."I had to manually run it because it appears updater only runs once a day.Goodluck!

I’m using Rank Tracker for rankings checks, have never had any problems. the guys there are really quick to adjust the tool to SEs algo changes.
