AFAIK KPI (Key Performance Indicators) should be something measurable. Is that what you mean?
or is that only me?
Yeah, KPIs have to be measurable in numbers. Back when I was working in e-commerce, having actual KPIs -- performance baselines, "measurable" measures of success, etc -- was one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. KPIs were things like: # of orders, # of return visitors, avg cost per acquistion. These days we spend so much time talking about "conversations" I feel like we've all forgotten the concept of KPIs... and revenue-based business models.
I wonder all those who voted the post think the Title is correct? or they just didn't care what it is?
very true, a KPI is something you can measure, but i honestly could not find a better word to describe what i meant, so i 'broadened' the definition. Call it 'writer's freedom' or just plain bad english
p.s.: i've changed the 'KPI' part to 'success factors'. It's a really ugly term though ;(
