A private neighborhood in Minnesota is accusing Google of trespassing when they photographed their neighborhood for Streetview.

wonder why maybe the "no blacks Irish and dogs" signs might not give a good impression - that is certainly the subtext i get from a story like that.

@mjwalshe not at all. the town’s streets are private property. Google was trespassing. simple as that.

in removing north oaks from streetview, google also removed my street in shoreview. i’m just a couple streets over. guess they don’t really know their city limits. ;)i was wondering if this might come up with north oaks and streetview. @loren has this pegged, it’s all private property. driving through north oaks is basically driving through the woods with some dandy homes tucked in here and there.

by the way, google’s satellite view is still there and live’s bird’s eye view is even better. kinda hard to keep a satellite out....
