If you're starting a blog simply to make money online, you're in for a rude awakening... unless of course you know what you're doing. But in essence, you should make money online first and THEN blog about it.

Blogging shouldn't be your main source of income.

Nicely said! No matter how many times I see this - it never fails... people blog about something they have no clue about ... makes it hard.
