Good advice (as usual) from Karon.

In cases like she describes in the article, the best thing to do if you have a specific phrase that you want to move up a bit is to find ways of getting it into some anchor text that points to the page in question.  Tweaking the copy will likely not help, but those anchor text links surely will!

I have to say yes..you have to tweak I guess, some of your content and keywords that way you can see if it will work or not.

Constantly tweaking content can be a pointless process. In the article, the problem was that the site owner was over obsessed with rankings and the point was as long as sales are steady and conversions are good, and nothing else has changed leave it alone. Unfortunately, too many site owners overreact when a ranking drops just one or two positions in the SERPs. And, I agree with Jill, getting those anchor text links will likely show better results anyway. If the copy sucks or is inaccurate, yes, change it. Otherwise, you'll be chasing your own tail in circles every time your position adjusts.
