This may shape up to be a great case study for those of us who haven't thought about utilizing Google Alerts as a marketing tool. Matt Cutts, Rand, Aaron Wall and others are all brought up in this blog posting; will this post work?

So far Matt Cutts & Graywolf have dropped comments. Graywolf wasn't added to this test but word of mouth must have spread a little.

Matt Cutts commented, "I saw this, but not because of a Google alert.."

I wonder if he also heard by word of mouth or if he found out through another method, he did leave the trailing dots...
