The stylesheet tip is a good one. Ive taken 28K stylesheets and, by not stacking each element beneath the next, cut it at least in half. That also makes it easier to read; its okay where there are only a few styles, but as the stylesheet gets longer, its blinding. So change this: body {color: #000000; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: arial, verdana, sans-serif; } to this: body {color:#000; margin:0; padding:0; font-family:arial,verdana,sans-serif} Tidy. I like a tidy stylesheet. :) [Oops; the software double-spaced my first style example]
Thats a great idea, but there are stylesheet resizers, that remove all of the blank spaces automatically from your stylesheet. Its less work.
Thanks for this I have a couple slow loading sites. I went to staples and asked for their easy button but apparently its just a gimmick.
