If Reddit gets even a whiff of SEO it will ban you faster than a fat model on the catwalk.

When someone submitted an article of mine to Reddit it was buried by at least 10 people in 2 hours. Theyre just a bunch of dumb SEO haters. Basically its censorship. Thats why I boycott Digg and Reddit altogether. They do not deserve to be fed by SEO social media powerusers.
I once had a front page reddit and was sent 6k visitors in a day, it was a Fox bashing youtube vid. I think if you go political you have a better chance, but anything with a whiff of marketing or making money online is a no go. Thing is, reddit is one of the easiest sites to game if you work in a co-ordinated fashion. It would be fun if we got a few peeps together to go on a raiding party.
The solution to all issues is to educate the users and the providers of the systems.
You guys may want to check this out, it just hit the reddit homepage: http://reddit.com/goto?id=2ntxd
Fortunately Digg is kind today to some users here. Way to go ViperChill!
Lyndon: You dirty SEO spammer! flyingrose: No way, for trying to "educate" users I always get offended even more, stalked etc. Just read my reviews at StumbleUpon, they all support the guy who said all SEOs should "get AIDS". People who hate do not hate out of reasoning, they just hate for hates sake, they cant be convinced. VC: What is this? In what way is this crude comment thread "Every single submission posted in the last 25 mintes has been down voted immediately." related to that post? planetc1: You speak in riddles.
Yep, congrats to viperchill and well deserved, a truly awesome accomplishment for a search marketing site, I was so close this weekend hot in upcoming on the homepage but then the users buried me.
Onreact: This thread is looking at ways that reddit might be banning sites just because they are to do with SEO My Link points out other issues reddit is having. How is that not relevant? Thanks for the kind words guys :)
There are users who systematically vote down sites but I have had stories voted up to the frontpage even though they were initially downmodded heavily. Reddits slant is easy to catch and if you use it long enough youll know what works or what doesnt. If youre banned from Reddit, try emailing them with an account with some decent karma and no history of multiple self-submissions. If youre a legit user asking, youll usually get the site restored.. provided its not spammy. This might not always be the case. Your mileage may vary. :)
Onreact, have you been at the fruitloops again? Submitting a video to Reddit is not being an seo spammer. Its being a submitter.
