I didnt realize this about Facebook. I fairly new to SEO and using social media. Thanks
MSN and Yahoo! used to use these by default, simply as a blanket legal protection. I suspect the same applies to Facebook, too.
The thing that I found the most interesting, that I didnt realize was the application of this ToS with the 3rd party plugins. Thats why I took my flickr and my flogblog application down. I guess when I was installing the aps, I figured that the ToS of the other sites carried over, but after reading Facebooks ToS, it certainly doesnt work that way. :(
Facebook is not the only service to make a rights grab at content. The terms of Ning are unfair.
