Joost definitely started Yoast.com off with a bang.
thx people :)
nice work! there are many articles like this out there, i have read it carefully and have to admin this one is for sure the the best.
Perfect timing! All-in-One no longer supports SEO plugin. Looking at Netconcepts SEO TITLE Tag plugin. Good info about HeadSpace. And the article gives some excellent do-it-yourself tips. Gosh, isnt SEO supposed to be automated? joke!Just recently setup my new blog in WordPress from scratch, so this article is going to be front & center for the learning curve!Best take-away: Sounds like if you are carefully writing an article for keyword density, make it a page and not a post. Comments dilute KD. Thanks, Joost!
Very very nice. Bookmarked. Will link to it early and often. :)
Good stuff. You might want to double check your link though. I got some weird characters the first couple times and had to right click to see the actual article.
@All: thx!@Rizoh yeah sorry I fucked up a bit for a sec there :P
bookmarked! This is really worth the read. Thanks
This is the best, most complete guide to Wordpress SEO I have ever seen. Joost has managed to combine the step-by-step hand-holding of a "how to" guide with the comprehensive value of a reference document. He covers the broad topics that need to be addressed, as well as the granular details necessary for a complete optimization for search.Though worth a complete read, the careful attention to expressive images allow easy scanning, and make the guide easy to follow. The guide addresses useful plugins you can install to take care of some of the work, but doesnt shy away from letting you know what optimization you should also do by hand within your template.Joost, thank you for this guide. I would recommend this as the first thing anyone reads after setting up their blog for the first time (and even for blog veterans).
Completely awesome post. Now if I could just find the time to implement it all.. :)
Superlative article! Found this earlier today in a Google search, and didnt realize it was new!
An fantastic post comes with all in one package.
Great post! I love the plugins also. Re KWD: Andy Beal used to have all his comments offsite to preserve his content. I think Rand Fishkin mentioned it in a whiteboard friday.
Joost Rocks! Good stuff.. as expected.
Very Usefull - I will use it as a reminder
A guide that no blogger can do without! Joost de Valk certainly made a killer startup of his new blog!
Great stuff, if you are new to WordPress this is a must read!
