A response blogpost to the discussion going on at Bruce Clay about "SMX Advanced containing Black Hat SEO content", shock horror!! Black hat advice doesn’t mean you have to do it. Black hat SEO rel="no follow"?? But it’s worth listening to "them", as you WILL learn more about the algos if you do. Don’t be so short sighted.

Well done for waiting and thinking about this issue sensibily instead of thrashing out a reactionary post immediately after the fact.

Well done, Julie, but not quite. She waited until she heard everyone else’s thoughts and then rehashed them for pats on the head.  I’d rather not relive an old argument.[exits stages]

ummm, who cares? If everyone did their own research and kept their eyes on their own stats and code... there would be no more SEO he said she said BS :p

To quite Lisa Ditlefsen on the post’s comments:"I’m a mother in full time work, heading a department, I haven’t got time to read every blogpost under the sun. I’m not patting my self on the head, I’m simply standing up for something I believe in, and someone I believe in!"Thus, I don’t think a week’s delay is a particularly long time.

Good post Lisa, sorry I missed this last week. Considering that posts are still(!) appearing about Lyndon’s exploits, a week does not seem particularly long atm. Also worth noting that some of us are not paid/professional bloggers - we actually get quite busy with our jobs as online maketers.
