In Poland things are currently fairly extremist If/when a new parliament is elected it might be slightly safer for people to express their views more openly.
I’m glad I live in a country where I can Google bomb the government with impunity. That seems like a ridiculously extreme thing to happen for what should be considered little more than a harmless prank. I didn’t realize that things were currently that rough in Poland.
I wanted to express my opinion, but hmmm... I’m Pole, don’t wanna get into trouble...

Dumb kid, using his home IP and all, so that even the dumbest of cops were able to catch him... Wonder what it’ll come to in the end. I mean - does the Polish administration actually WANT this to be turned into a high profile court case, making them the laughing stock both of their own local clientele and of the whole Internet world in general? Sounds even dumber to me.
The Polish leadership made an international scandal due to a satirical piece in a German mag. A year ago I was thinking of writing something from an English perspective looking out, but have been strongly warned against it, thus a domain sits in limbo.
Just to give you another indication about what it is like in Poland currently, as far as my wife is aware this story didn’t make it onto any of the national news channels.
