Google offers a wide variety of products aimed at small business owners, and many of them are free — or very low-cost. But does that make these products and services a good idea? I’ve written before about Google products a small business should use. But what’s the flip side? Which Google products are best avoided?

this is solid advice, matt.  i think one thing people forget is that nothing is really "free", even from our generous overlords.  people should use these things extremely cautiously.

Great article, with absolutely terrific advice. Google may be taking over the world, but that doesn't have to include your small business.

@ netgeek06 - sorry, sure those products could be helpful, but at what cost?  it's basically telling them how you run your business and puts all your important data on the interweb where some enterprising hacker or a stupid mistake could make it available to schemers or your competition.  did we read the same article?

I really don't think it is a one size fits all situation, but overall I think this is useful as an overview.
