I knew that Aaron had briefly commented previously about the effect, so it’s good to see him posting a little more detail. Definitely a lesson to watch out from.

If anyone orders $100,000 of linkbait from me, I will include a free pen. Not a cheap biro, but a nice rollerball ;) What I take from the article is that using one technique in extreme is asking for trouble. Much better to have a number of techniques working in balance. Mix it up a little.

Agreed Lyndon.. You see a lot of people focus on one aspect of marketing and neglect all of the other options.. And it almost always ends poorly for that person when that ’thing’ is changed by Google..
