This assumes you know how to edit the config file, which is not as cool as having a script do it, but the instructions here save a ton of time on subsequent wp updates:http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing/Updating_WordPress_with_Subversion

Won’t WP Automatic Upgrade plugin do all this? And in Fantastico, WP is a 2 click install more or less, no database creation etc
