With the new ICANN rules coming into effect in 2009 and the opening up of 'anything goes' TLDs, Josh suggests quite convincingly that backs are about to get stabbed and bodies are going to be fed to the pigs as the cybersquatters get the scent.

Cybersquatting is a serious matter to domainers and with the new ICANN TLD real estate boom coming in 2009 I am sure there will be a fair share of this going on. However, I think this should be the placed on the ethics of who ever is managing the TLD. Companies like TLD Managers and the TLD owners have to understand trademarking holds up in court. I am very interested to see how all of this plays out.
