Ive actually found Sphinn has been sending far more traffic over the past month or so. Hot posts have been generating 400+ visitors, which is well above the 200 or so I used to get. Not quite sure if thats due to an increase in usage...?
Ive had a number of hot sphinns on a number of my blogs, and I still get more from SU... but its all about who- this is an industry insider network, so its about whether experts in Search and SM see my stuff.
Its also topic-specific. I think my "SEO for Phone Numbers" post only got about 150 referrals. Maybe next time Ill do "Britney Spears Phone Number & SEO?".
Angelina Jolie tries out twitter! How about that for a completely unexpected and untrue post idea? try that!

Well, sorry, but Im really disappointed. This post says nothing about the "value" of Sphinn. It just recounts traffic numbers. Ive been popular on Sphinn a few times recently and depending on the topic, post and time of getting "hot" I got 100 to 400 visitors but thats not that interesting. Its not the "value" of Sphinn.
I have to agree with Onreact, I was expecting a little more. In terms of traffic, my last Sphinn frontpage sent 347 visitors.
408 for me, however, I got more from SERoundtable. SELand sends less traffic at the peak times than these two, but keeps sending lower amounts over much longer periods of time...
The title that would make the post automattically hot within Sphinn. Good Post!
Tad, I guess I agree with you. Perhaps I should have provided a bit more explanation as to what you would find. I just figured most Sphinners would be interested in knowing how much traffic you could get.
Sphinn is really an awesome place to promote your sites content..it is really a huge help if you submit your stories to this site especially in generating trafic..^^
I take you guys word. I had a front page story, but it didnt link to my blog.
