Interesting take on the recent Flash now crawlable by Google announcement: It is no coincidence that Adobe’s press release pointedly states that the new Flash crawling technology is only accessible to Google and Yahoo.

Absolutely spot on ... all of the search engines can already crawl Silverlight Content.  Adobe playing catch up because they're so protectve of their technology.

It's interesting to see it all in the context of the web. Up until this announcement the message was certainly gaining mindshare - Flash sucked for search rankings. (unless you had a good seo that is)
