Indeed, its not the age of a domain - its the search history that appears all important.Thats why for a few years now its been standard SEO practice to get at least a holding page (but preferably a couple of basic pages) up on any new domain registration.
In round-about terms, the age of a domain name — much like most of the criteria assessed by any search engine — is often not much of an indicator of anything in isolation.Such criteria often come into their own once theyre cross reference with several other criteria...
