Right...I spend a lot of time in Technorati researching linking constellations and I am constantly befuddled by noise, bloat, and fluff. Don’t get me wrong-its an essential tool, though consistently infuriating. Thanks Andy.
Interesting to read this. I deleted then closed out two clients accounts from Technoscrewup today.
It’s too easy to game at the moment. I think they need to come up with completely new algorithms to determine authority. Too much weight on freshness (I feel like I’m talking about the Goog and authority status)
It is time people at Technorati ping their minds together & come up with something new.
