Also displayed perfectly fine for me in FF... try upgrading or getting rid of all those addons?Also I don’t really get worried about 1MB anymore.. It I need the plugins I may just get dangerous and use a whole 5MB..... of my 6000Gig space...
Seconded Brent’s comments. pageoneresults, I quote you all the time on SERoundtable through WMW, but we’re a little more laid back here as part of the "community atmosphere" I think Sphinn wants to help cultivate. As for your comments, the page renders fine on my Firefox (v.3.0.1 which came out tonight!). There is valuable information in this post. If you don’t like it, don’t Sphinn it. Not everything needs to be Desphunn. I hate to echo all the others, but it’s warranted in this case. You’re making the *community* not enjoy wanting to come back. And this is a SOCIAL community where people are supposed to help each other instead of blatantly throw out unwarranted attacks (in this case, I consider your approach to be completely unwarranted).Further, reporting something as spam on top of Desphinning is just in poor taste. It’s certainly NOT spam, and honestly, I call that an abuse of the ’report as spam’ button.

the layout is broken in firefox 2 (cause 3 is too buggy to use) butI dont think that’s enough of a reason to desphin.
Why are you attacking design rather than content? It’s disappointing that you also desphunn an article last week because some guy had the MSN butterfly in his logo. What about *reading* the content and making a valid assessment instead of desphinning based on aesthetics or usability? That, too, is in bad taste. And further, why are you judging the entire post (which is actually informative) on the basis of one site and the number of posts it has? Who cares if there are only 3 posts? That’s not the point at all of this submission and has nothing to do with anything.People use social media for outreach and awareness of this post. I can imagine that the author of this article actually spent time researching the posts. Imagine their dismay when someone (you) actually Desphinns it, because, of all reasons, it doesn’t render in Firefox 2! That’s really disappointing, wouldn’t you think? Talk about investment. And instead of writing a comment with constructive criticism without Sphinning it at all, you essentially "buried" it. It’s an insult to the writer and I would personally be disappointed too if it were me.I’m not sure you realize that this is social media and the people here are acutally that -- people. They have feelings. I think you’re crossing the line in more ways than one.

If I started desphinning every single post because I disliked a blog’s favicon or thought they had a disturbing logo or their avatar was too ugly, that would be stupid and doesn’t benefit the community at all. It only makes you look bad for nitpicking silly details when the better option would be to IGNORE IT. Or comment constructively. You’ve done nothing but throw out insults.

If you don’t like a post topic, pageoneresults, I suggest you not bother wasting your time reading it. If so inclined, perhaps you should contribute something new that is more "worthwhile" for readers that share your opinion. Your comments served as much constructive purpose as my attacking your improper punctuation would have.Thanks for the feedback, all. I just launched the site not long ago and haven’t really decided on a final "design" yet. Content will be my focus initially - as time permits. It currently looks "good enough" in IE7, FF3 (and FF2, last I knew prior to upgrading to FF3 earlier this week - huh...) and Safari. I think that will do for now until I decide on a final design and make sure it is more cross-browser compatible. PR: wait... I: wait... L: wait... L: wait... I: wait... L: wait... Dir: wait...
